Watershed Speakers Bureau
Running a business without doing any marketing is like winking in the dark: you know what you’re doing, but no one else has any idea you're there. That’s why the Saluda-Reedy Watershed Consortium has begun developing a series of outreach presentations that integrate consortium-sponsored research findings into topics of public interest.
The first such presentation, entitled Welcome to Your Watershed, explains to audiences what exactly a watershed is and clarifies the geographic extent of the Saluda-Reedy watershed. The presentation then provides a historical overview followed by a review of the current state of the watershed. The implications for the future of the watershed and the role individuals and communities can have to promote water resources management are also discussed in this presentation.
