Watershed Outreach Materials
As part of our continued outreach and education efforts, the Saluda-Reedy Watershed Consortium has developed a full-color informational brochure, educational display, watershed stickers and watershed coasters.
Saluda-Reedy Watershed Brochure
The brochure highlights the beauty and importance of the rivers and lakes of the Saluda Reedy Watershed and offers an overview of the challenges our communities face in our efforts to protect water quality, as well as suggestions for what people can do to help. The backside of the brochure shows a map of things to see and do in the watershed.
These brochures accompany our new educational display to festivals and events throughout the watershed, and you may contact us if you would like to place an order.

Saluda-Reedy Watershed Display
The display, developed in partnership with Envision, continues to make the rounds at festivals and events throughout the watershed. This colorful piece of the Saluda-Reedy Watershed Consortium's public-outreach and educational campaign is an educational display about how individuals and local actions can help protect our local rivers and lakes. Look for the display at upcoming festivals or events!
Saluda-Reedy Watershed Stickers
A series of colorful watershed stickers is now available to the young (and young at heart) at festivals and events throughout the watershed. These stickers join our other outreach materials, such as the brochure and educational display, and remind all of us that this beautiful region where we live is our home and our watershed. Look for these stickers at an upcoming festival or event soon! Otherwise, you may contact us if you would like a set of stickers mailed to you.
Saluda-Reedy Watershed Coasters
A series of colorful watershed coasters is also available. These coasters have a colorful photograph on one side and some ‘Fast Facts' about our watershed on the other. Perhaps these coasters will help to spark conversations about the challenges these water resources face and our roles in the process! If you would like a set of the three coasters (one each of the Saluda River, the Reedy River and Lake Greenwood), please contact us or visit some of your local restaurants, bars, golf clubs or cafes throughout the watershed in 2007!
